I just completed quilting this absolutely gorgeous quilt for Roberta H. She is definitely a perfectionist regarding each stage of it's construction, I couldn't believe how flat it hung, in spite of all the piecing that went on.
I love this particular pattern, and the way the secondary pinwheels show up within the design. I would love to
make one for myself! And I adore the colours and patterns in these oriental fabrics, I believe most were purchased from Linda at The Last Stitch in Kaslo, BC
Roberta chose a butterfly pattern by Jodi Beamish called "Papillon" to be quilted across the whole quilt.

What a gorgeous quilt! so much work.... I wouldn't be able to pay attention long enough to finish this one. I really like that panto too, looks great on the quilt!
